LGBT Domestic Abuse Scotland

The LGBT Domestic Abuse project works across Scotland to raise awareness of LGBT people's experiences of domestic abuse and improve service responses to LGBT people who experience domestic abuse and other forms of gender based violence.

LGBT Foundation Domestic Abuse Helpline

This service is available to all people identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans, and anyone falling under the umbrella term of LGBT* such as queer, intersex, pansexual, non-binary or genderfluid, including those questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Mental Welfare Commission Scotland

The guide, which was co-produced with LGBT Health and Wellbeing, has been launched in a bid to increase awareness of LGBT rights amongst mental health professionals, and help health and social care services to deliver more person-centred care and support.

The Equality Network

The Equality Network was founded back in 1997 as a national organisation working for LGBT rights and equality in Scotland.

Provide a range of advice and information for organisations, including public sector, voluntary sector and private sector bodies, and for LGBTI organisations and people seeking to establish LGBTI organisations.

Under One Rainbow was founded in 2022 following discussions between family and friends about the extra difficulties that young LGBTQIA+ people and their families sometimes face, and the lack of available highly confidential support. It has a Facebook page.

This group is dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Angus, and also has a Facebook Page.

TransUnite is a comprehensive resource for people in the UK searching for support in the transgender community.

Deaf Rainbow UK

Supports the Deaf LGBTIQA+ community in the UK. Has support and resources page, and a Facebook Page.

Age Scotland Support for Veterans

Support for Older LGBT+ Veterans - for the ex-service community who are LGBT+, with information and advice on support available in later life.

Age Scotland LGBTQ+ Scottish Older People's Network

The Age Scotland LGBTQ+ older people's network works to amplify the voices and uphold the rights of LGBTQ+ people over the age of 50 across Scotland.

Fighting with Pride

Fighting With Pride supports the health and wellbeing of LGBT+Veterans, service personnel and their families – in particular those most impacted by the ban on LGBT+ personnel serving in the Armed Forces, ultimately lifted on the 12th January. Fighting with Pride also have a Facebook page.
