We have a reserved parking area nearest the surgery entrance. In addition to our disabled parking spaces, we’ve created a new accessible and child-friendly parking area right next to the entrance, making it easier for families and those with mobility needs to access the practice. There are no stairs or steps within the surgery and the doors are wide enough to admit a wheelchair. We have disabled toilet facilities. We are happy to welcome guide dogs for those patients who are visually impaired.
Academy Medical Centre is a large practice in Tayside with approximately 9,200 patients on our list.
We have a full complement of practice and attached community health staff operating from our modern, custom built premises. We have two GP Partners and two salaried GPs at Academy Medical Centre, assisted by a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Healthcare Assistants. We encourage continuity of care (seeing the same doctor) where possible.
The practice is fully computerised including an integrated appointment system and online patient services, and offers a wide range of clinics and services to patients. Patients' needs are at the heart of everything we do.
Of course we're not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.
