A public invitation

Posted: 20 August 2019 · NHS TAYSIDE news

People from across the region are being encouraged to share their views on NHS Tayside’s Transforming Tayside plans.

Public, patients, carers, relatives and staff are being invited to attend a number of public events in Angus, Dundee and Perthshire to discuss and find out more about transformation of health services across Tayside.

The three-year Transforming Tayside 2019-2022 plan sets out key programmes which will deliver important service changes for the people of Tayside and North East Fife.

The Transforming Tayside public events are being held on the following dates:

  • Saturday 24 August 2019, between 10am and 12.30pm at North Inch Community Campus, Gowans Terrace in Perth
  • Saturday 7 September 2019, between 10am and 12.30pm at Harris Academy, Perth Road in Dundee
  • Saturday 28 September 2019, between 10am and 12.30pm at Forfar Community Campus, Kirriemuir Road in Forfar

During the public engagement events in August and September, members of NHS Tayside’s clinical team will give people an overview of Transforming Tayside. Participants will then be given the opportunity to find out more and give feedback in small discussion groups.

The public events will include discussion on a number of topics, including stroke care, orthopaedic services, transport and access and patient experience.

To register your interest in attending the public events or if you require assistance with travel, please contact 0800 783 6110 or email transforming.tayside@nhs.net.

Information about Transforming Tayside is available at www.transformingtayside.scot.nhs.uk.

The public events will also include special consultation sessions as part of the three-month public Shaping Orthopaedic Services consultation, which runs until 31 October.
