An end of month update

June 2019 Update

Posted: 25 June 2019 · Practice news

Staff Changes

Fiona Doig will be leaving us on Friday 28 June to take up a Nurse Practitioner post in a Dundee practice. Fiona has provided us with over three years of excellent and loyal service working initially as a member of Dr MacCallum's team, and then as a member of Dr Barry's team. We wish her well in her new venture but will be sad to see her leave.

Teressa Forbes has been promoted to Office Manager and took up her post in May 2019. Teressa has been with the practice for a number of years and her promotion will expand her wealth of knowledge in the day to day smooth running of the reception.

Cake & Candy Stall & Health Hub

Our Patient Participation Group raised £135 at the Cake & Candy Stall held at the practice on 13 June. The Third Sector Health Hub, which ran alongside, was well attended, with lots of useful information shared about the various different agencies. Patients and staff were able to purchase some very tasty goodies and all the money raised will help our PPG provide and improve services within the practice. Thank you to all for your support!

The next Third Sector Health Hub will take place on 11 July 2019, 10.30am to 12 noon. People (from any surgery) are welcome to come along to meet organisations and staff for information, and to chat about how they can get help locally. Find out more about the Third Sector Health Hubs.
