Skin Clinic Restart

Regular in-practice clinic resumes

Skin Clinic to Resume

Posted: 10 May 2021 · Practice news

With the easing of restrictions, we are planning to restart our regular in-practice Skin Clinic. This means that when patients contact their GP or Nurse regarding a skin tag or skin lesion such as seborrhoeic keratosis, one option may be to be referred into our in-practice clinic for treatment with Liquid Nitrogen where appropriate.

Patients should note that when contacting the practice regarding a skin lesion they may be asked to submit an e-Consultation form along with photographs so that a full history and clear pictures are available, rather than being asked to attend the practice for a clinician to view the skin lesion. The easiest way to do this is to select the "rash, spots & skin problems" protocol in eConsult on our website.

Our first Skin Clinic will be on Tuesday 8 June 2021 and will be run by Healthcare Assistant Lynn Ferrar, initially alternate weeks, building up to weekly.
