SMS Reminder Service Restored
Some weeks ago we informed you that the SMS reminder service was suspended due to incompatibility issues with NHSMail and Microsoft Exchange. Our local IT Support Team have worked extremely hard in conjunction with the supplier to get a workable fix for this.
We are very pleased to say that they have now done this, although there are some limitations to the service (we are limited to sending a maximum of 30 SMS messages per minute). However, patients will see no difference from their end.
Our IT Support Team are continuing to work on a more satisfactory solution, but we are very pleased that this valuable service is back up and running again for our patients.
