Patient Notice: Prioritisation of Covid Vaccinations
The Scottish Government have issued updated guidance requesting that we prioritise the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, and that some age groups will be accelerated. To accommodate this, we will have reduced capacity this week, and possibly next week too.
We will have limited numbers of staff available to deal with your enquiries. Therefore non-urgent enquiries will not be dealt with, and we ask that patients only contact the practice if they need a rapid response to their enquiry.
We have also suspended our eConsult service but patients can still have access to the Self-Help Guides therein.
If an enquiry is of high priority and requires attention today, our staff will endeavour to assist you in a timely manner.
Please be aware that we are anticipating a significant volume of incoming telephone calls regarding the Covid vaccination campaign and you may find that your call is held in the queue for longer than normal. Please be assured that our staff will answer your call as soon as they possibly can.
Thank you for your patience and support in this matter, which will allow more patients to be vaccinated in a shorter period of time.
