New Appointment Options

For over 9 years, we've provided telephone triage slots where patients received a call back for assessment by a clinician. Starting Monday 17th March, we're excited to offer Face-to-Face appointments with our ANPs, Nurse Practitioners, and Locums.

Patients can now choose between face-to-face or telephone appointments. We will have some slots available for pre-booking, with the remainder available on the day. All appointment requests will continue to be signposted to the appropriate clinician by our fully trained medical reception team.

At Academy Medical Centre, we continue to follow the NHS Scotland guidance: Right Place, Right Care (NHS Inform). Our care navigation system ensures that you receive the most appropriate care tailored to your needs.
