It is therefore important to identify what is causing you to fall in order to reduce the chance of it happening again. The Falls Assessor, Joyce Simpson, can triage patients who are at risk of falls, or who have had falls, giving advice on awareness and prevention of falls.

The new system involves prescriptions lasting 24, 48 or 56 weeks and will allow you to collect your medication every four or eight weeks directly from your pharmacy. This will mean you do not need to place an order with the practice.

Read more...Ashley McGregor from Voluntary Action Angus is a community Development Worker who has taken referrals from Healthcare staff in the practice to offer individual, one to one advice and provide any non-medical support they may benefit from. This is available for anyone who could benefit, including people who's health is affected by social and environmental issues which cannot be dealt with by only a medical response, which can be called Social Prescribing.
